The AMT 285 series are cast iron, self-priming centrifugal pumps designed for dirty water, boosting, washdown, liquid transfer, and dewatering applications. The dual volute design reduces the radial load on the motor. The centerline discharge feature helps prevent vapor binding and allows for easier piping connections. All models in this pump series are fitted with a self-cleaning, semi-open impeller. Pumps are designed to handle liquids with solids content or dissolved solids and debris. The pumps are able to self-prime up to 20ft. The mounting base features 7/16in mounting holes, which are 6in on center.
