The Tsurumi Pump HS Series Semi-Vortex Submersible Trash Pump uses a semi-vortex urethane rubber impeller with an agitator to suspend solids and allow for pumping of sand and stringy material. Operation is optimized by an air-filled, copper wound motor with class E insulation. Built-in thermal protection prevents motor failure due to overloading and accidental run-dry. Double inside mechanical seals with silicon carbide faces running in an oil-filled chamber provide for a durable seal design. Double-shielded, permanently lubricated, high temperature C3 ball bearings are rated for a B-10 life of 60,000 hours.
