The AMT 5000 Series is a line of submersible drainage and sump pumps that are lightweight with built-in float switches. They are intended for use in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. They are ideal for applications involving basements, boats, tanks, and other general drainage applications involving dirty water. Each unit is completely assembled and features a self-cleaning, semi-open impeller and an automatic on/off float switch.

All pumps incorporate a mechanical shaft seal with carbon and ceramic wear faces. These pumps features corrosion-resistant stainless steel outer bodies for longevity, with either cast iron or plastic internals (please see datasheet for more information about model differences). The pumps have a 3450 RPM electric motor fitted with a finished, 3-prong grounding type power cord. Motors are UL listed and rated continuous duty, as well as featuring automatic restart thermal overload protection.
