The Iwaki MD/WMD Series of pumps are small, magnetically coupled, centrifugal pumps with power from 1/250 to 1/3 HP. They are compact and ideal for use in laser, chiller, and blood analyzer applications. This pump series is not self-priming; operating the pump dry (without liquid) may cause damage. There is an internal cooling circuit feature which helps reduce the bearing temperature in this pump series.

With a variety of sizes and voltage options, this small centrifugal pump series is ideal for a range of process applications. These pumps are non-metallic due to the use of magnet torque to transmit energy. Because of this, it is important that any liquids in the process application do not contain iron, nickel, or other magnetic materials.
