The Federal Pump MSC Series is a submersible chopper sewage pump that uses a single-vane impeller design to pump solids. The impeller shreds and grinds the solids to prevent larger solids from clogging the pump, piping, or disposal system. This is achieved through the use of a hardened tungsten carbide-edged rotating impeller that cuts and chops against the stationary chromium suction plate, reducing solids to particles. This prevents downstream clogging that is often caused when larger solids are pumped through the impeller and into the piping system.

The MSC Series is supported by heavy-duty industrial-grade shafts, bearings, and increased motor insulation, provides 20 starts per hour, and is backed by Federal Pump’s three-year limited warranty.
