The March Pumps Series 2 centrifugal pump is available with encapsulated, air cooled, or blast cooled motor options. The hermetically encapsulated model can operate submerged or not submerged, while the epoxy enclosed model can only operate submerged. This seal-less magnetic drive pump can generate a maximum flow of up to 5 gallons per minute at 1ft and its maximum head is 13ft (5.5psi). The motor is a 1-phase 115V or 230V, which can run on either 50 or 60 hertz (please note there are some performance differences between the hertz options). The encapsulated models are capable of handling fresh water, salt water, and mild chemicals, while the air/blast cooled models can handle mildly or highly corrosive chemicals, acids, and solvents.
