The March Pumps Series 7 Self-Priming Centrifugal Pump eliminates the need for a shaft seal, and can pull up water a distance of 12ft from the surface of a supply tank to the pump within one minute. Note that while the pump is self-priming, it cannot be run dry as the impeller requires the liquid being pumped for lubrication. The direction of the motor rotation should be counterclockwise when facing the motor end of the pump. The motor is totally enclosed, fan-cooled, U.L. listed and rated for continuous operation.
