The March Pumps Series 809-HS Hydronic Centrifugal Pump with DC Motor is a high speed pump built to handle applications such as home brewing and hot water systems. The pump is not self-priming and lacks a suction lift, and thus requires a flooded suction. The pump cannot be run dry. The pump includes a wet end assembly that can be separated by unscrewing the housing screws. The front housing comes in a choice of polysulfone, bronze, or stainless steel. The DC motor is a brush type and comes with 12 or 24V options.
