The March Pumps Series 809-HS Hydronic Centrifugal Pump with Brushless DC Motor is a high speed pump ideal for applications such as home brewing and hot water systems. It is capable of generating a maximum flow of 7.5 GPM at 2ft. The pump is not self-priming and lacks a suction lift, and thus requires a flooded suction. The pump cannot be run dry. The standard motor is a 0.04 HP DC 24V Brushless motor, with an operating range of 14 to 30V. The pump's wet end assembly can be separated by unscrewing the housing screws. The liquid will be contained within the wet end assembly unless the rear housing screws on the rear housing are loosened.
