Description
The AMT 316 Series is a line of engine drive dredging pumps, designed with cast iron casing and high chromium stainless steel internal components. It is suitable for use in applications that require pumping sea water and fresh water containing solids up to 25% sand, debris, and other abrasive particles. The pumps can also be used for marine applications such as dredging, pile driving, pier maintenance, emergency bilging, and wash down.
The pumps in this series are wear resistant due to the high chromium stainless steel internal parts, as they are designed to last over 500 hours of service (with regular maintenance of rinsing the pump with each use). The parts are investment cast and CNC machines for maximum efficiency. The dual volute design reduces radial load on the engine. Additionally, the 4-bolt casing design and removeable type volute aids in maintenance and cleanout of the pump.
