Description
The Iwaki SMX series of self-priming pumps are centrifugal pumps designed to prime themselves automatically without external assistance. They are ideal in applications where fluid levels may vary or if they are forced to operate with a dry suction line. These are magnetically driven, non-metallic pumps with no mechanical seal. They feature a self-radiating bearing structure and non-contact dry-run capability, allowing to withstand abnormal operating conditions across industries.
The bearing is available in multiple material options: carbon, PTFE with filler, and SiC. The motor is sold separately. Additionally, the pumps come with a removable wet end assembly and are constructed with glass fiber reinforced polypropylene. The pumps contain a priming capability of 13ft in 90 seconds.
