Description
The Hevvy/Toyo DL Series Submersible Slurry Pump is a versatile dewatering system designed to transport media with up to 20% solids (Class 1 slurry rating). The DL Series comes in .75 through 100 HP configurations, with a discharge port size from 2 up to 10 inches. High Chrome impellers and other wear components vastly extend the service life of this model. Large internal clearances ensures smooth passage of mediums with higher concentrations of solid material. Each unit's motor has run dry capability, with an inbuilt cooling jacket and thermal protections. Variable voltages available depending on configuration.
The DL Series features High Chrome agitators with 1 through 30 HP models, reducing maintenance by preventing build up on the sump floor. An agitator is optional with the 50 HP configuration. The optional chopper package featured with the 4 and 7.5 HP models further reduces the chance of blockages through breakdown of larger solids via a High Chrome cutter, cutter plate, and ductile iron strainer/stand. This installation is placed in front of the pump's suction, thereby breaking down larger solids such as metal banding, plastic, wood and cloth prior to the medium reaching the impeller.
