The Neptune JD Series Large Direct Drive Mixer utilizes a housing that cannot leak oil. The mixer is best for applications handling viscosities under 1,000 cP and up to 500 gallons (1,893 liters).
The mixer exclusively uses square pitch 1.0 ration marine propellers. Flow coefficients and power consumption characteristics equal those of the best hydrofoil impeller designs. A vibration-absorbing pad is included as standard, and the shaft bearings are permanently lubricated. The mounting clamp uses an adjustable angle of entry via indexed ball-and-socket design, achieving various process results.
