Description
The Iwaki WMD-100 is a magnetically coupled, centrifugal pump with a power rating of 1/3 HP. The pump is compact and ideal for use in laser, chiller, and blood analyzer applications. This pump is not self-priming; operating the pump dry (without liquid) may cause damage. There is an internal cooling circuit feature which helps reduce the bearing temperature in this pump series.
The pumps are non-metallic due to the use of magnet torque to transmit energy. Because of this, it is important that any liquids in the process application do not contain iron, nickel, or other magnetic materials. This pump model does not include a motor - the motor is a required accessory and is sold separately.
