The Neptune 500-E Series Chemical Metering Pump applies Neptune's Variable Oil By-Pass^TM stroke adjustment to allow improved valve performance over variable linkage designs, and offers an economical alternative to the standard 500 Series pumps or a packed plunger type pump.

The ten turn micrometer dial is calibrated in 1% increments, with the ability to adjust capacity from 10 to 100%. The bright, color-contrasted dial is protected from corrosion by a clear PVC covering. The stroke mechanism moves only when an adjustment is made, eliminating wear, and the piston is powered through complete stroke length at all capacity adjustments, eliminating stress, wear and shock of lost motion designs. The totally enclosed fan-cooled motor includes a built-in automatic thermal overload.
